Our consultancy work is led by Peter Buckingham and Michael Gubbins and can be extended to incude experts from our extensive list of expert contacts and partners.

As head of exhibition and distribution at the UK Film Council and the British Film Institute, Peter Buckingham led and oversaw the launch of some of the UK’s most innovative and successful projects.

They include the groundbreaking Digital Screen Network, which helped kickstart the digital cinema era in Europe, and Find Any Film, a web-based service hailed for guiding consumers to legitimate digital film sites and cinema screenings.

He sits on various boards and advisory boards such as European Digital Cinema Forum, Cinema First (to promote cinema going in the UK), Film Club, Power To The Pixel, European Think Tank, and FindAnyFilm. His expertise is frequently used by business and institutions, including the Producers Network in Cannes, ICOTEC in Korea, the Royal Holloway (University of London), the Media Business School in Spain, the National Film and Television School and London Film School.

Michael Gubbins has spent decades in management in newspapers and magazines, and more recently in media analysis and consultancy. He is currently chairs the board of the Film Agency for Wales, a wide-ranging business covering all aspects of film, from education, project development through to innovative approaches to distribution and IP exploitation.

He has been an innovative editor of newspapers and magazines, helping renew media businesses at a time of digital upheaval. Among a number of titles he has edited have been Screen International, Music Week and business technology title Computing,

He has worked on many consultancy projects covering a wide range of international media issues, both on his own and in his previous role as part of the team at Olsberg SPI.
